A calm day on Kauai’s North Shore.

We like to use Photoshop’s built-in filters to create watercolor effects. We sometimes use the Watercolor filter, but we also like to use the Accented Edges filter (in the Brush Strokes filters menu). The Edge Brightness settings are usually set to create light colored edges when the filter’s window first opens. We move the Edge Brightness slider to the left to create dark Accented Edges.
