FINDING YOUR WAY IN SANTA FE
Understanding that Santa Fe is a city of discovery, it naturally follows that it is a place where one can get lost. Therefore, SFeSC will provide a map identifying the major streets connecting the world famous Santa Fe downtown plaza to the college campus. Don't worry. This is a small town. Additionally, as this is a major tourist city, Santa Feans are used to being asked directions. Feel free.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Sandia Shuttle Express will pick you up at the Albuquerque airport and transport you directly to Santa Fe and the college for $20 per person each way. For reservations call 1-888-775-5696 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. They accept all major credit cards or you can pay the driver. Make sure to mention that you are going to the Santa Fe Screenwriting Conference at the College of Santa Fe.

AIRLINE TRANSPORTATION
Southwest Airlines is offering a 10% discount on most of its already low fares for air travel to and from the event. You or your travel agent may call Southwest Airlines Group and Meetings Reservations at 1-800-433-5368 and reference the assigned I.D. Code - A6414. Reservations Sales Agents are avalable 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, or 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. You must make reservations five or more days prior to travel to take advantage of this offer.

CLOTHING TO BRING
Santa Fe is an eclectic city. Coats and ties are not needed or encouraged. Everything is casual. It would be a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater for evenings.

CLASSROOM NO-NO'S
No laptops, no cell phones, no horns, bells, or whistles.

HIGH THERE
Santa Fe's altitude is 7,000 feet above sea level. If you are unaccustomed to higher elevations, remember to drink plenty of water and limit your alcohol intake.

REFUND POLICY
You may cancel at any time through March 31, 2001. All refunds will incur a $75 processing fee. There will be absolutely no refunds after March 31, 2001.

TAX DEDUCTIONS
SFeSC is not qualified to give tax advice. We do suggest, however, that you look into IRS rules which, we understand, allow deductions for educational expenses to maintain or improve professional skills. We believe these deductions include conference fees, travel, lodging and a portion of meal costs.
