Often, conference
attendees find that the person they are sitting next to also holds a wealth
of information. Listed below are the numerous opportunities you'll have
to meet people and exchange stories. Many of the mentors and workshop
leaders will also be available.
SCHMOOZING
Although the college cafeteria will be open for breakfast and lunch, for
those who don't have or don't want a meal ticket Cafe
SFeSC, on campus, will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner,
as well as coffee and snacks. Sponsored by SFeSC and Mucho,
The Gourmet Sandwich Shoppe of Santa Fe, it will be open from
morning till night each day of the Conference (even Thursday for early
arrivals). Cafe SFeSC will be a great place to hang, nosh, and network.
Friday,
May 25, 2001 5:30 p.m.
A wine-and-cheese reception will immediately follow the Producers Seminar.

The
J.W. Eaves Movie Ranch Barbeque Blowout and Wild West Fiesta
starting at 7:00 PM will add an old-west flavor to the conference. A popular
western location, the ranch has hosted movies with stars such as Jimmy
Stewart, Henry Fonda, John Wayne, Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, and
Clint Eastwood. And they keep on coming. The occasion will feature barbeque
(of course), live music, dancing, a shoot-out, and several fun surprises.
This is a terrific atmosphere for networking.
Memorial
Day, Monday, May 28, 2001
The Fade
Out Luncheon
is the final event of the Conference. It promises to be a fun event. This
will feature announcements, door prize drawings and an opportunity for
everyone to bid their hasta luegos (see you laters).
